just got done doing the mach 1 swap in my 2002 mustang, and the speedomter doesnt work, I am using a 02 gt transmission so Im not real sure if this is the problem or not.

I know the speedomter use to work in the mach 1, and I have the wiring harness from a mach 1 transmission
Not real sure, but i know when I was doing the swap there were two male plugs and only one female plug to plug into so not sure if I plugged in the wrong male plug?

It might help if you posted pictures of the plugs. Or how about the size and number of pins?

But I know there are differences noted on the 2003 wiring diagrams that are Mach 1 specific. For example, on the Mach 1, the OSS sensor goes through connector C1045 pin #8. Where as for the GT/V6 the OSS sensor goes through Connector C139 pin #15.

A set of wiring diagram will help you re-pin the connectors to make this work. If interested in getting a set for yourself I maybe able to help. PM if interested.

what wires are you using to run this motor? for 02 you should use 02 gt wireing and ecu and 02 trany harness. other ways are possable , but i have found if you mate the correct year wires and ecu as the car it will be straight forward aplication.

and the wirirng harness's are from a mach 1, even the dash harness which I didnt need to replace.
