Hi,
i have this squealing noise,
it goes away as soon as i put any pressure on the clutch.

i have not check my transmission fluid in a while, could i b that i have low tranny fluid ?
cuz i know it's now the main belt cuz i sprayed it with WD40 and didn't do anything

Probably your throwout bearing or the clutch fork good look bro

is it easy'ish to replace ?
expensive ?

and if i don't replace it, will it damage anything or just be annoying ?

Your throwout will eventually seize up. Mine did as I drove it to the garage I was goin to work on it. Its a pain you might as well change out your clutch if its got some miles on it. Also Make sure to get a Ford Throwout bearing not aftermarket as other than ford are mainly crap.

i just went to a garage,
i ask them for a quote for a new clutch and throwout bearing

they told me 500$ for the clutch kit + 400$ for the labour + tax

i feel like that's really expensive. is that normal ?

I don't know the going rates for your area, but that sounds quite high.

A lot depends on the choice of clutches, but with a stock setup you should be able to get it done for about half that number... (USD)

I'd ebay the clutch and bring it in. Also I'd check with car buddies or maybe yelp if none have any shops they recomend that does sound expensive.
