I got my lower grill yesterday after only one week. Much better than the 3 weeks for the upper grill.
Taking off the lower grill was a bit harder than the upper as well. I got the upper off with my fingers but I needed a flathead screwdriver to help pry the tabs for the lower. Oh there was also an air deflector that was cake to get off with 7 hex head screws.
After the grill is off there are 4 'sections' of open area. The center are open as that is where the OEM lower grill allows air to flow. The outer 2 are 2/3 blocked by plastic to where the OEM grill inserts tab A into slot B heh. I painted these black.
Over all this was pretty easy to install. It comes with 8 little 'C' type clips that hold the grill in place. Kinda hokey but they seem to do the trick. It also came with 4 1/4 inch push in fasteners that I have no clue what they are supposed to do. They are on my desk, heh.
Not your typical bling guy here but it looks good! Like that fog light position much better, pony emblem is cool too! But for a blinger you should not accept those wheelbarrol tires...??
