I just talked to Ben. The only thing is if the film/tint, or the dots have ANYTING metallic in them, the films/tints usualy do, there will be an interferance and reduced reception and protection... so I guess you'll have to find out what they're made of...

What KJ said. Metallic films of any sort are very bad for Radar sensitivity. Stay away from the upper part of the windshield as most cars have some sort of tint in that area, usually metalic in nature.

Soooo...

...does having tint on your windows (except the windshield) greatly reduce the effectiveness of a radar detector?
