Steeda Triax Shifter...Hard to shift?!?!?!?

Any of you fellows out there with this mod have a hard time shifting with this sucker?? Please tell me they "break in". How hard do you guys usually have to pull to find 1st??

bought my car from Steeda with the shifter and haven't had a problem at all.

Loosen the bolt on the shifter rod.
