Has anyone installed these on their GT? What exactly does this do to the shifter and is it worth the purchase?

Mine just came yesterday! I could use a pointer or two on how to put it in....

Thank you.

I just ordered them, it supposed to get rid of that rubbery feel, but not reduce the throw. I currently have the roush shifter in and it is a pain to shift. I know several people getting rid of their steeda shifters and going to this set up. the stock shifter felt like it just went into gear smoother. you have to drop your drive shaft(couple of bolts) and voila,, you will be able to get to your shifter bolts alot easier.I did not install the roush shifter so this is a new one for me also. I have my stock shifter to look at and as far as popping the bushings in, it looks pretty easy. I will try to get some pics of the stock shifter with the new bushings as soon as I get them in.

That would be awesome, bro...along with any other instructions/suggestions. I too have one on the way, and am not well skilled in The Ways Of The Auto Jedi. Don't know if it's something I'll be able to handle or if I'll have to make my mechanic richer. Anything you can provide will be mucho appreciated...
