steel bearing retainer? what is it and why?

i need this part for my t-5 swap i think.. but i dont know anything about it.. whats it looks like? where does it go? can i get one from autozone? help please:headscratch:

well im going by this check list that i found at 3.8..

T5 from a 94-95 sn95 (World Class)-yes
Bellhousing (From SN95)-yes
Bellhousing Bolts-get new
Bellhousing dowel pins-
Pressure Plate-ordering SPEC stage 2
Pressure Plate Bolts-
T5 Flywheel (FRPP Billet Steel ) ordering SPEC aluminum Flywheel
Flywheel Bolts-get new
Pilot Bearing-get from autozone 11.99
TO Bearing-on order w/ SPEC stage 2
Clutch (HD FRPP)-ordering w/SPEC stage 2
Clutch Dust shield-yes
28 Spline T5 Driveshaft Yoke (connects to T5 output shaft) -yes
Pedal assembly-yes
T5 Driveshaft (FRPP Alum in a few weeks)-yes
AODE X member-yes
T5 Shifter bezel with boot -yes
T5 dust boot-yes
Clutch cable and Quadrant-yes
Steel Bearing Retainer (is T5 has the Alum weak one, recommended)check

You don't absolutely need it but it is good to have..its a sleeve that covers the transmission's input shaft. Its the section the throw-out bearing slides on. The stock one is made out of aluminum and as time goes by, the aluminum piece begins to gall and makes clutch engagement harder.

ah ha! so i do have it.. thanks aow alot! i will get a steel one later though.. mine is still in good condition!
