As I was turning into my driveway, my steering wheel froze up and the car died. The brakes also were not responding. I started the car back up with no problem. This si the first time this has happened to me in this car. I have already replaced the IAC valve, soI know that isn't the problem. I am about due to change my fuel filter. Could it be the filter or my fuel pump going out?

Sounds like it just stalled. As the car is stalling you'll lose the power steering and vacuum assist to the power brakes. Is the chip in your car a custom tune or is it the off the shelf one?

It is custom tuned, especially with my stock valve body gone. I haven't had the prob. since, but thanks for reply.

Were you coming to a hard stop while turning into your driveway by any chance? When we got our first SN95, that happened a couple of times. Hard acceleration to sudden hard stop would cause it to stumble and die every now and then. It only happened after first getting the car though, once it had over 5000 miles, it never happened again.
