new ones will look alot better ,34.95 ea, at http://mustangsunlimited.com or one of those other sites.
i painted mine with SEM trim paint. its the best rattle can paint ive used.

all you need to do is sand it with fine grit sandpaper, prob 320 grit, then wipe it down with acetone, and then paint.

i think the SEM paint is about 10$ a can and a gallon of acetone is about the same.
You can prep and paint them yourself, just get some filler primer if they're pitted rather than smooth. If they're smooth, then just lightly sand, clean, and then paint. If they're pitted, prime/sand/prime/sand until they're smooth, then clean and paint. You can then decide whether flat, satin, or gloss black you want.
thanks...i might just buy new ones since they are about 35 a piece. How hard would it be to install? how do they come off
