As you can see this is my first post and first mustang I've owned. My question is is it normal for the plate to stick inside the throttle body?
After I cleaned all the carbon out of the throttle body I ran my finger around the inside and felt a groove where the plate stops. When I push the throttle and release the plate sticks and I have to force it to get it open again. I disconnected the cable and TPS sensor and it still sticks without them attached.

This might seem off but clean the IAC and make sure the TB Cable isnt catching on anything. also if you have new carpet or floor mats that thats not catching. but you can also grab some sand paper and try shaving the butterfly flap slightly
