I was surfing the web for after market sway bars today. Stillen has a front adjustable 1 3/8"and rear non adjustable 7/8" kit for 189.00 + free shipping. Regular price is 326.51.
Is Stillen a good sway bar?????

I have them on my car and they do the job. Adjustable in the front, non in the back. They have 4 holes to adjust, most of the others I saw had three. I think I paid less then 200 for both when they had a sale. GA

For the most part a swaybar is a swaybar. The difference you will find in the kits is usually down to the hardware, links, etc. Some have billet stuff which obviously jacks the price up.

I have the same size bars on my car and they are not a bad balance but I had to back the front off to get it that way. The problem is that I would like to have more wheel rate in the rear (thicker bar) so overall I am running with less wheel rate at both ends now. I am planning on getting a 24mm rear bar (the Stillen is a 22.5mm) and then re-setting the front to balance it back out.

My reasoning may not apply to your particular situation though. I am running HUGE “R” compound rear tires and playing with about 650hp so there is simply a lot more forces going through the rear suspension. That being said when I was at 450hp just having the big sticky rubber was enough to warrant wanting to run a larger rear bar.

If you are playing with lots of traction and/or power I would put some thought into a bigger rear bar.
