I have a 1991 GT with the AOD transmission i was wondering if they made any transbrake kits for my transmission? Where would i find one?

Can i just run the transbrake to a switch anywhere in my car?

No problem, chances are you'll find pretty much any info you could want here.

Yup, you can... just use a 30 amp fuse and put it where you won't accidently hit it while normal driving.

Thanks again for all your helpful kindness one for question kinda off subject but, i have another stock intake manifold sitting around and i was wondering how much i should port for the best gains?:headscratch:

porting a stock intake just isn't worth it....

just gasket match and clean up is about the best you can do ....

why the decision to go with a t-brake .....

because my transmission is perfectly fine no need to replace it.. plus the transbrake gives me the thing i want right now higher rpm lanch.

thanks ;) really to tell you the truth i dont know what brand it come with the car when i bought it already had a pretty well built tranny so..

Can you tell if the power level stays the same when shifting into 3rd and 4th, or does it feel like it drops off a bit? That would tell if it's a lockup or non lockup converter.

Yea it feel like a small power drop in both 3rd and 4th.

yea there is a small power level drop from 3rd to 4th and maybe from 2nd to 3rd.
