I have a bunch of different ideas for exhaust on my pony, and I dont know what to go with. I'm puttin alot of thought into it cuz I want it sound right the first time. Alot of ppl say that straight pipes dont sound good, but i found a youtube video of a sixer with straights and it sounded good Turbo 4.0 V6 Mustang CATless twin 2.5 pipes, no mufflers. I dont know how much a turbo would affect the sound at idle. I think it sounds sweet on this pony.

I think it sounds good for a sixer. I can always go back and put some flows or magnapacks on the car.

A turbo would definitely quite down the exhaust or at the minimum it would change the exhaust note.

Yes it would change the note... Also, He has a 4.0, You have a 3.8... Different engines produce different exhaust notes...

Do not do straight pipes. They sound like **** on a 3.8L... A kid in my town had a 6 with straight pipes. It sounded like a piece of ****, and it sounded like a worse piece of **** when he tried to get on it...
