If you got the $$$ go for the 18 x 9 Chrome deep dish bullits. Toyo T1S' Tires
Pros- Look Sweeeeet
Cons- Gotta replace tires for the bigger rims and the $$$
Im not a tire size expert but the sixe for the 17's doesnt sound right.
255/45/18 for the larger rims. Dont know bout the 17's

255/50/17 for the 17's 255/45/18 for 18's

No reason to lower for 18's. with 255/45/18's the wheel tire combo has the same profile as the stock setup.
hey hazmatt...hows it drive though everything is ok and ish? cuz for the difference in price the 18s(800 for the set of 4 at mustangtunig.com) are worth it..and what is with the talk bout stickout out beyond the fender? thanks dude

If you are willing to spend the $$$, 255/45/18 has the same overall height as the stock 235/55/17 that came on your factory option wheels...

The cons of buying an 18" combination is spending the $$$ if you really don't have to and those cheesy 235/55/17 spin too hard very acceleration, so you will have to replace them sooner..

The pros of buying an 18" combination is better handling and control of your vehicle under all types of road conditions and less wheel spin because there is going to be more rubber on the road...

OH -- I almost forgot, they look "too cool" too...

You decide, Dave :tongue :tongue :tongue :tongue

If you look closely they are different. The spokes within the rim are set deeper into the rim on the deep dish ones.
Hope that wasnt a confusing answer.:eyebulge:
