Clip-Clop as the pony's hooves go. Everyone that gets in mine reminds them of the old stangs.

One more option: stick your hand out the window and use hand signals - very quiet!Fryguy_pa said:Here are a two other options...
Louder radio
Louder exhaust

My Wife has an Impala, and the turn signal is a heck of a lot louder.my1ststang said:OK, love the car.
But can't figure out why Ford put a loud, clunking turn signal on the car.
Even my wife and kids have commented about the "thunking"
Any way to disable this? Just the reminder in the car, not the actual signal itself...
Amen brother! I say that you are lucky to get what you got.bailiff said:I'm sorry folks, but everytime I read a thread on this sight where someone is complaining about their 05 0r 06 mustang I wonder, why did they spend the money. Complaints like: the radios are junk or the antenna looks like crap or the car is not low enough because there is too much room in the wheelwell or THE TURN SIGNAL MAKES TOO MUCH NOISE!!! This is a retro vehicle folks. Do you remember your 67 mustang. Do your best to make your mustang sound good, look good, run good, feel good but geez folks stop complaining. In spite of all of it's short-comings its still the best buy for the money. Now I know that I'm probably going to get slammed for saying all of this but for all that might be wrong with this vehicle it is still so much fun to drive and turns a lot of heads. So, make it louder, make it run faster, make it bust your neighbors ear drums when you turn your new sound system on but stop complaining.
Lol I was gonna say that the Focus' TS is twice as loud. G/f has a 05 and that thing is twice as loud as the stangs.2k5conv said:I hate to burst everyone's bubble but the Ford Focus has the same sounding turn signal.
