Hey all,

I've been looking around for subframe connectors and found some square ones on foxmustangrestoration.com for $75.
Then I found som tubular connectors for $115. The site that sells the tubular connectors say that they are way better than the square ones because they are "lighter and stronger and do not affect ground clearance.

:headscratch:My question: are the tubular connectors actually $40 better than the square ones?

I provided some photo's of each.

I got my tubular ones from Global West with the seat braces with them as well. They tuck right up next to the floorboards and look sweet.
Most of the square ones will hang too low for most Fox body cars. Most people that have them will say they scrape on even the lowest of speed bumps.

Anything tubular is stronger than square. It is just plain physics.

Whatever you decide on installing, ensure the car's weight is on the suspension during the installation. Otherwise your car may not sit the same ever again.
Oh, and get ones that are welded in, not bolted in.
