Stoked and have to share...
I got this car for my wife as a 40th b-day present a couple years ago, it's always been her favorite style car, so I started saving up for it a couple years before her birthday without her knowledge. I found this car about 6 months before her bday for a good price.. it's a simple car - 6 cylinder, manual brakes and steering, but the price was right. I got new seat covers and recovered the front and rear seats, put in a new gas tank, new door panels, dash pad, welded up the dash where the previous owner had hacked it up, new carpet, replaced the engine because the one that was in it had a dead cylinder, and most recently had the SSBC front disk brakes (power) added to it for better stopping power. I hated the stock 14" steel wheels/hubcaps... but knew that there were not a ton of options for the 4x4.5" bolt pattern on the classic Mustang.. after some digging, found out that the Konig Rewind wheels in 4x114.3 bolt pattern may work.. so I ordered a set from my local America's Tire Company store.. went to have them fitted today and everything looks great.
Details:
Konig Rewind 15x7 wheels with 0 offset, 4x114.3 bolt pattern
Tires: Falken Ziex ZE-612 205/65R15
total cost, mounted, balanced with lifetime balancing and repairs - almost exactly $1000.00
Love the look!!!
