Suggestions to achieve 800+ hp

Hey everyone, I am new to this site. I would greatly appreciate any ideas on what I should do to get over 800hp. I have a general idea on what will be required and Ive done most of the work so far on the car but im not an expert.

Heres what I have:

2006 Mustang gt 4.6L black w black leather
-kenne bell 2.6L supercharger w the full kit( boost a pump, boost a spark, full injectors, air intake, throttle body, kenne bell tune, etc)
-brisk racing plugs, 1 heat range colder than stock gapped at .025
-kenne bell 8 rib pulley kit, kenne bell belt tensioner
-3.73 gears
-b&m short throw shifter
-eibach pro kit springs, lowered 1"
-borla long tube headers, x pipe, and stingers exhaust
-excessive amperage 300amp alternator

And just if anyone is curious, I also have a roush front bumper, gt500 rear bumper, nitto extreme 555 tires, torq thrust rims, pillar gauges, 5% tint, black brake calipers, gt500 spoiler, cervini eleanor hood, and some other stuff.

Heres what I think I need:

stronger driveshaft
stronger rear end?
stage 3 clutch
forged internals but Im not sure what kind?
bigger kenne bell throttle body
I would like mild cams but im not what size lift etc

Any advice is greatly appreciated. I rarely drive this car. I own an audio shop and this will be a demo/competition/show car so there will be some extra weight in the back. Im working on a fiberglass box that will hold 3 15"s and will take the place of the back seats. There will be over 5000 true watts running through this car so it should be pretty loud lol. Again, any advice is greatly appreciated and if anyone has any electrical questions, feel free to message me. Thanks

You'd likely need to make it a stroker for starters...800hp is more than I can even fathom!
Ported and polished upper and lower intake
I'm not an expert but that's my input. Good luck with your build.

jeezus......800hp....that would rule.

Welcome to AFM!

What are 3 15"'s and how much horsepower are they worth?

:jester:
Start with a Shelby Super Snake motor and go from there! Hope you got some really deep pockets.

With that kind of power you better get a better suspension :what:

Since youre not holding back at all, check out griggs racing suspension.
It would be nearly impossible with that blower (I have one too) but you could get close with 24psi and race fuel.

To do it right you will be looking at spending an additional $16,000-$18,000 which would cover all the support systems also.

Getting 800hp out of a 4.6L 3v is a tough hill to climb though. Even very leaned on GT500's can hardly make that. No matter what you do it will cost you about the same kind of money though. If I were looking at making that kind of power and was going to pay for it all at once I would consider a huge SOHC Jon Kaase big block. You can make 800hp easy and it will slide right in your car. Jon put one in his S197.

will be a demo/competition/show
Since this is just an aimless horsepower goal.....just use somebody else's dynosheet. Hell, I'll give you one of mine.

:goodpost:

I'd offer one of mine but they don't go that high :winks
By the way what is your budget.
Better plan on another car too because that would hardly be streetable.

It would be streetable with a Kaase SOHC motor in it.:bigthumbsup
I would suggest TT for the power adder and give up the dreams of making a Kennebell 2.6 work maybe a mammoth at 20PSI but thats kinda pushing it they did a test a while back and got I think 770RWHP at 20PSI with the mammoth although I prefer the idea of having twins.

Livernois 323CI Short block as the base
STS Twins,Turbo horsepower Twins or a customs setup
New Spec stage crazy clutch
9in Rear, Locker, 44 Spline
Lethal Performance 1000hp fuel system
Wow if I had the $$$$$$$$$$$ to buy this Sh*t
Or a big *ss centrifugal!

Either way, you gotta pay to play. Or show in your case.

Plan on $20k+ easy to start.

let me get this right.....you have all this stuff done to your car and you just joined one of the MOST popular mustang forums?

i'm going to go out on a limb here and call you out. i think you're full of sh1t. sorry. just my opinion.
Well.....I have no meaningful advice cause what you say you have and what you have stated your goal to be is incompatible and pretty ass-backwards to boot. How/why would anyone buy/do all of that stuff THEN ask what it would take to go 800 rwhp? I'll tell you what.....hook up a nitrous kit but replace the N2O with pure liquid H2.....add copious amounts of air and a spark and you will make 800 hp (very briefly) then start over (if you are still alive) by asking what to do to get to 800hp BEFORE you spend the first dime. Yeh, call me crazy...:kooky:

It might be hard for you to fathom, but there are a lot of modded car owners that never join internet forums at all. I would hardly use that as a reason to doubt the op.

I don't doubt that the OP is full of ...........

Where is the OP anyway? Just another of those hilarious "one hit wonder" threads, that invites the usual expert contributions.

Still think mine is the most relevant though....get an 800 rwhp dynosheet from someone else and edit.:laughlitt

OP last logged in two days ago, the day after he started this thread which was the day after he joined AFM...

I bought the car from a buddy of mine a couple years ago. The kenne bell, 3.73 gears, eibach springs, guages, and some other stuff was already on it. I put the borla headers, borla exhaust, 8 rib kenne bell kit, and some other stuff on. Currently, there are 27k miles on the car. I will be adding pics soon since there is doubt for some reason.

This is not a daily driver, I probably drive it a couple times a month. I have other cars I drive everyday.

Im not a mechanic by any means, so im just trying to get ideas of what I could do. I appreciate the link to jon kaase, im actually very interested. I dont have an exact goal, mainly depending on the cost, but I would like to get as close as I can to 1000hp. You can call me crazy, but I would love to get close to that.

Im only 21, Im still in college, and I own a bussiness. Theres no set budget, since you asked. I pay for everything myself...and I have never financed anything or got a loan...and never will. Its cheaper to just pay up front, obviously.

I really appreciate all the advice, like I said, Im not a mechanic by any means, so this is very helpful.

Yep there comes a point where the old saying........."no replacement for displacement" rings true or at least the most cost effective.
