Hey guys I was wondering how much boost the stroker kits from supersixmotorsports can handle? or do they each have diffrent ratings? I know they have a 4.3 and 4.2 stroker kit... the reason i was asking is because ive decided to save up some cash and procharge it instead of trying to build the motor N/A... but the only way to make some serious power on are v6's is with some serious boost...=/ I know the procharger has 11 psi and its kind of a bit too musch for the stock internals so i figured id stroke it out and forge them to make it reliable and safe! but i was thinking.... if the internals can take alot of boost then why not boost it more to get even MORE POWER!!!! so thats why I want to know how much boost the kits can take?

Well its not the power pack that i want, its the stroker kit. i want the internals to be able to handle it... i dont want bent rods or something like that... since ime gonna supercharge it i figured i would make it as reliable as i can, and more displacement means more power (while im at it)

There are variances in building a motor that will dictate how the motor will perform or what its' limits are. It comes down to everything from bearings, to small items like valve retainers. It all boils down to money, and some cut corners in order to save a few bucks and end up with a motor that will have greater limitations. Serious building requires serious cash.......
