·I did some searches and couldn't find any related threads on this.
Traffic around here is horrible, and several times now while trying to get around slow traffic I've found myself having to hit my brakes while changing lanes. My suspension does not like that one bit, it's a little bit scary the car gets all out of balance and I'm caught trying to get her all lined up and back in control. I wish I could sense whether it is the back end or the front suspension getting me out of whack. Since this is not a normal everyday maneuver this has happened 4 times in the last 35K miles, which is every time I've hit the brakes while changing lanes.
I have a stock suspension Pony Package V6 Mustang, stock Pirellis, Ford strut tower brace, stock brakes, etc... I've considered LCAs for a while now since they seem to be the first big suspension/rear end upgrade. My dealership gave me a 4 wheel alignment right after my Advactrac ABS Control Module fix because on one of my drives with the Ford Tech I demonstrated the braking/lane change swerving and he offered an alignment job. So any ideas guys? Hoping not to shotgun parts at this, but I may have to go back to the dealer again even though I don't want to.
