I also need to know what else is need to install new kmember and let everything fit and have clearance . .
Also would like to know good brands and street legal stuff

Please help me decide on which parts to install keep in mind this will be a street car . And I want to do a coil over setup later on so will need to make sure I can with new parts ..

I like the team z stuff. Kmember, hardware, control arms, ball joints, caster/camber plates, offset rack bushings if it's lowered, new shocks, and since it's all apart might as well do the brakes unless new, or even a 5 lug swap if not already.
I like maximum motorsports stuff.
I have the mm kmember, coilovers, control arms, caster camber plates, sway bar, and strut tower brace up front. All from Maxmotorsports. Pretty much the same on the rear end....all mm.

Of course, I'll recommend UPR Products suspension. It is Made in America and it carries a Lifetime Guarantee. We hold the 275 record with a 1.035 60-foot time, yet, our suspension is reliable enough to daily drive anywhere. We strive to offer the best customer service, and we're actually priced lower than the other two brands mentioned.

Give us a call and we'll hook you up with the AFM discount. :)

Does the kmember fit or do o need new streeing shaft ??
That's kind of a weird question, but I think most tubular k-members give you MORE room for things like long-tube headers, starter access, etc. I think they would work with your factory steering shaft.

with Maximum motorsports k-member, a different shaft is not required but a solid shaft is recommended.

Also, you will need lower control arms (tubular), caster camber plates, struts and coilovers, due to the geometry changes that are made from the new k-member.

This would also be the perfect time to upgrade your 4-lug spindles to the much better 5-lug.
With the 5-lug conversion, you open up more wheel options and can use bigger rotors.

I also did forget to mention that maxmotorsports k-member has 2 options for the k-member, I believe they are light duty and heavy duty.
light duty is for mostly street and light racing, heavy duty is geared more towards an all out track car.

Your use for the car will determine what you need, but most people do just fine with the light duty option.

Team Z Mustang Metal Matrix Tubular K member Kit (79-93)

The UPR k-member kit is a better design. No steering shaft required.

Depends on ur goals. Do u want to go fast in a strait line or fast around turns. Maim motorsports for corners, auto cross, or road racing. TeamZ for the drag strip or going fast in a strait line u won't be disappointed with either
