The UPR kit is EXCELLENT. It is Made in America, it carries a Lifetime Guarantee, and our racers win championships year after year. (four NMRA Championships in 2014)

We need to know A LOT more about your car in order to make a recommendation. But this kit, with 12-250 springs, covers the needs of probably 90% of the people out there:

79-04 Mustang Stealth Front Coil Over Kit with Springs Black

We may suggest a different option depending on your specific setup and use though. Feel free to call us at 561.588.6630. Not only can our tech team help you pick the right setup for your car, but you can still use the 10% discount code over the phone if you'd like. The code is forum15.

Not really convinced on your product I've read negative stuff only way I would buy if you offer a refund if I don't like your product with no question asked

Unfortunately, because we've been in business for over 20 years and we've won countless championships, that has put a target on our backs. Some of our manufacturing competitors have tried to smear us over the years. Thankfully the numbers don't lie. We have thousands of happy customers, and we continue to win championships every year.

UPR specializes in street/strip performance, and we offer everything from AFCO coilover struts for 320/pair including springs, to AFCO DA struts for $1,500/pair, and several options in between. We carry coilovers to satisfy every customer from the budget street car builder to the World Champion drag racer. We do offer a Lifetime Guarantee on UPR-brand parts, but we do not offer a full refund on used parts.

Hi bayarea91!
What are you thinking of doing with the car? The UPR might not be a bad choice.
I personally suggest the MM pieces if you are on a "budget" (I'm aware they aren't cheap).
Griggs or Agent 47 are the real s--t, if you have suitcases full of cash laying around.

I have used a few different UPR products…I have had good & bad luck with them in my experience. I am definitely not trying to take anything away from an American company that I have watched grow form its beginnings. I am just stating my experience with UPR products that I have used personally.

Unfortunately, the worst was a K-member/coil over set-up purchased between 1998-2002 (I honestly can't remember the exact year unfortunately).
The engine mount brackets where off level by about a 1/4", so I shimmed the driver side up until the motor sat level.
The other problem (& biggest issue for me being a road racer), was the steering rack mounts. The mounts positioned the rack about 1/4"-1/2" further forward (towards the front of the car) than the stock location. This significantly effects the steering ackerman. It's actually better to move the rack further towards the rear to improve ackerman. I have gone as far as milling material off the back of my steering racks to help improve ackerman…I was obviously not happy about the K-member contradicting this. I called the company to explain the issue & ask for a resolution (about both issues) & was told that the more forward position doesn't matter & wouldn't affect the steering. Honestly I don't believe that the person I spoke to had any idea what I was talking about. He was rude & offered no help & no resolution.
I made the strong suggestion that they check their K-member jig. Ultimately I wound up selling the entire unit about a year later.
Lesson…don't buy parts from a drag racer based company if you like to road race.
I'm sure by now they have fixed this & many other issues (as all good businesses do) considering they are still in business & doing well!

The other parts I have purchased (mostly interior pieces) have all been great! I've suggested them to many mustang friends. I have used them in many cars for many, many years without a single failure.
