Swap meets in Texas

Dang....i was thinking moving back to Texas I would see more swap meets....must just be a Dallas Ft. Worth thing. Been here 6 months now. Best i can tell there has been one show and 1 swap meet 50 miles away. :headscratch:

You missed the Pate Swap meet they hold annualy at the Texas Motor Speedway ( where they race NASCAR at here in Fort Worth ), the BallPark in Arlington where the Texas Rangers Play have an huge swap meet / car show atleast twice a year. The Good Guys car show and SWAP meet is held at the Speedway. So, those are a couple of venues you can look forward to. Will Rogers holds several shows also.

Hello.:) There's a good one coming up May 18 at the horse track on beltway 8. They do that one a couple of times a year and I always manage to come away with some more junk to store in my attic.:gringreen

Yessir you are correct and those are the ones I went to often when we lived in DFW. Almost any weekend you find a swap meet. But I really don't feel up to driving four hours and spending 100.00 in gas to buy a few parts so I was hoping to find one local.:gringreen I agree those you mentioned are the best that's why I said it must be a Dallas thing.:happyhapp
