Was at a cruise nite this week and was asked if our 66 had a swing away steering wheel. Questionner said they had, had a '67 with this option. Wasn't aware that such was available, and if so what years was it offered?

Hello.:) That option became available in the 67 model year, but the 67 set-up was different from what the 68-70 cars had. It did the same thing through what was basically the same type of system, but, the components of the 67 set-up were different and aren't interchangeable with the 68-70 cars. :)

True , very true due in part to the "non collapsible " steering column on early 67 cars
It was a really cool option for chubby guys such as myself . :D
