To get the center console off you have to pop off the gear shift cover to get to the two screws there, and the rear ash tray cover or arm rest has to be removed to get to the other screws. Engage you parking brake, and it should come up enough for you to get to the underside and the mirror switch.
The driver door window switch does have a connector, just trace the wiring back. Take the arm rest off by removing those two bolts, there may be another screw for the arm rest...anyway, you can access the switch from there. I don't remember if you can get to the connector from there or if you have to pop off the door panel. There are a few miscellaneous screws to look out for if the door panel has to come off; most are the plastic door panel push pins.
