Just got myself the 2012 Mustang v6 and noticed i don't have SYNC. Is it possible to install aftermarket, or possibly grab the module from a salvage yard?

i dont see why it wouldnt be, Ford has a habit (going off SN95 body style here) to design one wiring harness that handles all accessory levels, but somebody with an SN10 would know for sure. but there ARE aftermarket units with a lot of the same capabilities now, might be cheaper.

Do you know of a good place to look if i am trying to get the SYNC for my 2012 or what are some other units that have the same capabilities?

Im kinda just pissed that there are a bunch of buttons on the dash that have no function but for the SYNC. What i am most looking forward to in the SYNC is to use my ipod through the usb and Bluetooth. Hands free would be best for obvious reasons
