$1000 dollars seems kind of high, how much did they charge for the clutch install?
T-5 noise help!!
2weeks ago i got my a king cobra clutch kit installed by a local shop.Its got a pilotbearing and a TOB included. About a week later i started hearing a squeak coming from the trans.It happens when the clutch pedal is out .WHen i put it in gear and start moving i can hear the squeak through the gears.So i took it back to the shop and they are saying its the input shaft bearings?? It's a $1000 dollar job!!!???.So does this sound right? $1000 bucks? They couldnt tell this when they did the clutch? What do i do????? I really need help.

They charged 400 bucks
Could they have not pt the new TOB bearing in and be tring to sucker me into getting the input shaft bearings done??
I could really use some advice here,its my daily driver.Should i just buy a used t5?
What happens if the pilot,and or the input shaft bearing goes??Is it ok to drive for now?
