t45 reverse question

How difficult is it for yall to find reverse in your 5 speeds? Only manual car I've ever owned, but I drove a nisson sentra with a 5 speed and drove a s10 manual yesterday, and reverse was so easy to find. All of my 1 ton trucks have always been easy to throw into reverse, but thought it was just a car thing.

I have to fight my car to find reverse, kind of embarrissing sometimes when it take 20 to 30 seconds to put it in gear to back up.

Is this a common thing?

my t45 has issues going into reverse somethimes it will go in and as i let the clutch out it will start to roll backwards them pop out and grind

If it's stubborn going into reverse, put it in 1st, let off the clutch until it starts to pull, press it back in and put it in reverse. If the syncros aren't shot it will go right into reverse. It's a T45 quirk.
