this is a quote from an msd forum. they have suggested afew things but to no avail. if anyone has any suggestions plz help. (i have an 84 gt mustang powered by a windsor. i have a pn/8354 ready to run distributor w/ a stock coil. i am having trouble w/ no tach reading. a rep. from msd sent me a resisted wire for the tach side of the coil but that didn't work. i have 4 volts to the tach side of the coil and 9 volts to the power side of the coil. does that mean my battery is weak? and would it cause no tach reading? my volt meter also jumps and i have no oil pressure reading. i do have good oil pressure b/c i took a valve cover off and had great oil flow. all my connections are good and the system has good ground. plz help!!!! )
