the different years are set up generally the same. years dont matter much.. must be the chrome taillights getting to you head

i would check for a bad connection on either end of the wire. find some wiring diagrams and follow it around. possibly bad gauge cluster

bad crank sensor.sorry my keys are sticking.Spilt coffee on keyboard.
Crank sensor will do that?:headscratch: I read about the crank sensor and it didn't mention that. Someone said it was the module on the side of the plenum. ( I forgot what it's called.) It's flat and has wires going to both sides.
