I was planning on pulling those badges off of my Mustang this weekend.. They are just glued on correct? A heat gun should remove them correct?
the 5.0 and GT badge are just glued on right?

Double sided tape and an alignment pin that goes into a hole in the fender. IF you take it off and are not going to replace it with somthing there will be a ~3/16th size hole there.

The GT embalm on the rear panel has pins that are melted on the back. You could ruin the back panel if you try and force it off. I pulled the back panel ground the pins on the inside. I was then able to paint it black and use double side tape to put it back on.

Good thing I asked before I started on it.. I miss the days of the badges/emblems just being taped on.. A heat gun was all you needed.
Guess I'll be talking to my friend about having those removed.
