first look at the new camaro....it has a 427000 price tag and an all steel body...somewhere around 700 horses...interesting isnt it? a retro body....where'd they get that idea? not too worry though...if this reignites the age old war between camaro and mustang we'll win...cause we can make 700 horses for considerable less with our gts than that camaro can for 427000....lmao

There`s nothing retro about that car , its just a 69 camaro kit car !

They're selling BRAND NEW 69 Camaros, all the body pieces are made in Taiwan -how ironic!!

Next year they're selling NEW 67-8 Mustang Fastbacks. . .

I read that somewhere , do you think that`s going to lesson the value on a original Camaro or Stang ?
I have mixed feeling on that because it would be cool the get a brand new 68 stang , but it still is not a true 68 Stang or 69 Camaro , its just seem like a glorified kit car !

It's not a "kit" car when all the stampings are original, and updated welding techniques make the platform stiffer than the originals.

There's a whole section on it in this months Hot Rod . . .

Re value: who knows. Original Cobras are STILL through the roof, even though there's a million + 1 Cobra kits out there . . .

Will these car`s have A VIN? and will these cars have to go threw state emission laws ?

It's labelled as a replacement body, so you should be able to swap it if you already own one.

If you try to license it without an existing body, who knows?

in some states, if you biuld the whole thing yourself, you don't need a VIN . . .

In either case, in most states, the old VIN would grandfather you in, and a self built car doesn't have to meet regs . ..

It depends on how you buy it.

You CAN buy it as a kit, and that may be the only way you can license it in some states. You can also buy the whole car.

It's not a show car, you can purchase it right now for $12000 unassembled.

How 'bout a '64 1/2- '66 fastback car? Id love one of those because it would be alot easier to just build it with a fuel injected motor if it wasn't assembled.
