I don't know if any one see it yet but this mth mmff. the one about the 10 sec six cy, I was thinking about the upper intake ideal. would the upper intake from a 97 windstar fit a 02 mustangs lower? :?:

yeah, but hood clearance is an issue. It's why it doesn't have one stock.

If you got a Cobra hood, you could probably do it.

really?:rolleyes: I was thinking af a 2" crowl but I didn't feel like doing to much body work.

Pinto cut a hole in his hood. Look it up in a thread or in the gallieries . . .

where should go to sell a 3:73 7.5 ford racing rear end gear.

He wants to sell 3:73 gears, and i was asking if it was a good idea/bad idea to purchase used gears.

ah! ok!

If the gears are in good shape, no chips, etc., it's a good idea, as they're already tempered.

*Hint Hint* Are they in good shape? How many miles have you put on them?

Also, is the rear gearing is the same for both autos and manuals? (just want to make sure...)

Miles have little to do with gears. My old F-150 had over 750,000 miles when my uncle took it, and the rear end was fine.

My 68 had over 250,000 miles.

If there's excessive chipping or wear from a fluid leak, or misalignment on the install, watch out.
