Hi I was wondering how difficult it was to replace to the rearend gears in my four banger. I was going to step them up to 3.73 but I heard it was a pain in the butt? Is this true
You will need to get a master kit from Summit, Jegs, whoever, and have a dial indicator to check the pinion backlash and then spray paint or blueing compound to check tooth face wear pattern. You will also need the correct torque wrench.
