I don't see tune, driveshaft, turbo, procharger, or exterior mods in your sig...I'd say there is plenty left.

That being said, I almost bought a nicely priced 2013 Grabber Blue GT this weekend. Alas, I told myself to wait as the 2014s will be out soon enough.

Well you could procharge it? You'll be faster than any stock gt and many with bolt ons.

not worth the money with a 13 GT 400 to wheels with just an intake and tune the torque will be fun to
yea me too. I wanted the GT to begin with but couldn't find one and I told myself this V6 Pony Package was all I needed and I love the car .. but I miss that rumble and besides, I wanted a glass roof or a convertible and couldn't find that then either. not sure I'll find exactly what I want now.

good luck.:bigthumbsup

Why not just get a Shelby ?

It's only money.
Okay 400 to the wheels. Pro charged v6 with supporting mods ( full exhaust driveshaft intake dyno tune shorter pulley d1 head) puts out 460 to the wheels. Weighs less too. It will be definetly faster just no warranty.
It will come out to the same amount of money if you consider how much you will lose selling your car. A procharger with those supporting mods will set you back about 8k with install.

i wont put a procharger on a v6 loose the mpg defeats purpose of it. If i can get 28k it will be nice i know its a stretch but who knows it might happen who knows. ill keep you guys posted i have a lot done on complete sound system to and full suspension

You won't lose the mpg? Boost doesn't come on until 2000 rpm
In 2 years, you'll be bored with the gt.

In about 2 minutes, I'd be bored with a base anything.

I went from a V6 Dakota to a V8 Ram Hemi. V8s are cool, and very fast, but as far as I'm concerned, there's more to driving than cylinder count. I still miss that Dakota.
You could transplant a 5.0 into the car. A lot less boring than buying a car with one already in it. :)
There is nothing wrong with the v6. But if I had only one Mustang,I'd get a GT. Just my .02
Why didn't you just get the GT in the first place? I don't understand why people spend THOUSANDS of dollars on something they are not completely satisfied with. :headscratch:

I have had my V6 for a year now, basically all stock, and I am not even near bored with her. 0-60 in 5 seconds and high 13 second 1/4 mile for 21k. Yes.

Personally I would just wait until the re-designed Mustangs come out. That way you can have the choice between a nicely priced old version, and the new one if you like it.

I was going to buy a 2013 Shelby but apparently they aren't taking orders for those anymore and you have to order a 2014 instead. So I decided to wait and see what 2015 model year brings.

5.0s without bolt-ons put out ~ 360-370HP to the wheels. 5.0's with bolt-ons get around 400WHP.

A FI'd 3.7 will make 450+ to the wheels. That's a large difference.

A FI'd 3.7 will also be cheaper than buying a new 5.0.

MPGs should not be your concern if your looking at upgrading, that's just an immature argument for being stubborn.

QFT. I couldn't agree more with you Solid. After putting all that money into the v6 you say your bored with it? Ok then why not put that suspension to good use and AutoX it? Or go the Turbo/SC route and then you can have a faster car that you built instead of just buying a fast car. By putting your personal touch on it, it will be more impressive than just buying some stock car that you will dump more money into. Many here are boosted and still have good mpg's and can outrun many modded 5.0s for cheaper so there is no logical argument here than the fact that you want a v8.

I agree. Drive the thing in the curves. Come to Southern Indiana. Run 66, 62, 145. That'll get your pulse up. Love my V6.

If that doesn't do it for you, get a KTM 2 stroke dirt bike and ride thru the woods. <that doesn't do it, you're terminal.
