I only tryed a small spot on mine but it turned out great. I think you need to remove any old wax first. Dawn dish soap does the job because it has the right alkalinity to cut wax.http://www.guidetodetailing.com/articles.php?articleId=25 Both of these sites have alot of imfo that can help. Found some near you

:happyhapp I found a good starter box tonight, clay and detailer spray from Mother's at Pep Boys. Good place for of the shelf items just dont ever buy the parts. the kit is only 16.99 at the rancho store. Good luck its going to rain again this weekend maybe only saturday.
