Bullitt, i wanted to make like 3-4 posts of the which is better than that, what would you choose, etc etc. Just to see if you would comment, but instead i used the search function and it helped me out in 5-10 min instead of 30min-2days for people to respond, so thanks for the knowledge of the search function. But on to the important part

Which part of my suspension should i upgrade first? if i do Springs should i do control arms also? or what should i do if i do, do springs first? thanks in advance, you king of suspension you.

dont make his head bigger than it already is....

and the dampers should be the first thing to be changed, hands down
A lot of people do the springs, shocks, and struts at the same time. Then some subframe connectors and lower control arms. Don't forget the Caster/Camber plates with the lowering springs if it gets too low.

this is true..... for sure :hihi:

and jep makes a good point. we normally do a couple things together(i.e. dampers/springs) but then again i like the idea of doing one thing at one point to see what makes the biggest single difference

I know one at a time is good, but if i have to take my wheels/rotors/everything off 10 differen times imma shoot myself. so if i have it all off, i wanna do what i can at that point.

definitely makes sense joe. i enjoy the wrenching so one at a time is fun for me. but its not the most efficient way to do things. then at the same time you do dampers be sure to do cc plates. those would be the three to do at the same time.....dampers/springs/cc plates.

You should add a panhard bar first......:bigthumbsup

But if that's out of the budget, I would put subframe connectors and lower control arms next. Do the springs and dampeners at the same time, doing one without the other is like eating cereal without milk. They just don't work well without each other.

whats the dampeners? caster camber plates?
Dampers are basically your shocks (rear) and struts (front). They "dampen" the bouncing from the springs.

Caster/camber plates are required to put your alignment back in spec after you lower your car.

Read this Late Model Mustang Suspension Basics
So do shocks sturts and springs all at the same time. gotcha. thanks for the info
i did my whole suspension at once

bullitt, a bit of a threadjack here, but what are some good brand panhand bars out there? i'm making way more money than i anticipated this summer, and i might have room for one final mod before i take a break.

hardy har smart alec. i know MM makes one, and there are the watts link setups (for around $600), but i figure the suspension guru will have an opinion that i will not be able to find on google. don't worry, i have done plenty of my own research, but MM seems to have a monopoly on this one. i'm not a bandwagon type person, unless it's a really nice bandwagon.

The MM panhard bar is a nice piece, that's what I'm running. Griggs also makes one, but IMHO, if I spend that much money on a product, I want it to look as good as it costs. Maybe that's just odd of me, but the Griggs bar looks like crap under the car IMHO. Now I'll duck while all the Griggs guys throw crap at me. I know it works well, and is a super strong piece, I just chose the MM panhard bar because of looks.

Watts link would be awesome, I kind of with I would have bought the entire Steeda 5 link kit now, but hindsight is 20/20, isn't it?

i haven't seen the steeda setup yet but i'll take a look. what advantages does a watts link setup have over a panhand bar? i know it's supposed to serve the same purpose, but why does it do a better job?
