The quick version is a 91 year old lady crashed into my parked car causing over $5000 worth of damage.

Fast forward 6.5 weeks
After 5 delays I finally get my car back. I ask the dealer how much my 2005 premium V6 w/ 6000 miles would be worth. The heart crushing answer was $14500.

But it gets better.

I was out driving around to make sure everything felt right and got onto the highway. I glance over and to my disbelief I see a police car were there has never ever been a police car. I am sited for doing 81 in a 55. The end to another great day.

that totally sucks...My brother has a 7 series bimmer and he got hit causing some minro bumper dammage...had the dealer appraise the car after it was repaired and took the lady who hit him to court for the devauled difference and won.

sucks to do to an old lady though.

That is a huge bummer, insult to injury, so how does the car drive?

Even though communication was poor and there were several delays, the body shop (Walt Sweeney Ford) did a good job. You can't even tell where the damage was.

Everything checked out A-ok. It took some time to remember the acceleration delay though :)

according to this, there's only a 325 dollar deduction for your mileage.
