I currently have an 07 GT and had a question about the 2011. I like getting out and doing HPDE courses and having fun in the car.
A problem with the electronic throttle was trying to match the RPM to the gear as you are down shifting. Trying to "blip" the throttle resulted in no rpm increase, almost like there is a lag time between putting your foot to the gas and the throttle body response.
This was semi fixed with a programmer and tune from Brenspeed.
My concern is that I have ordered a new 2011 GT. Is this still an issue with the newer cars or has this problem been fixed in recent years? Has anyone else had the same experience or having this difficulty with their 2011 Mustang?
Thank you for your assistance.
