Hey guys i bought an intake gasket set, the TB gasket has a round hole in the middle, my TB isnt just round it has a slot for the tps, do i instal as is or cut the gasket? I have a 2.3 turbo Xr4ti

That's how is supposed to be. The odd section your referring to is for the IAC valve to bypass the throttle plate to control the idle.

Thanks so much the one i took out was cut maybe causing my idle issue?

I don't know why got idle issue with these 2.3. Mine has some problem with it but I have fmic and modified. One thing that helped mine was a used Escort IAC. Must get plug connection if using that IAC. It was free so I tried it. Better than all the other junk 2.3 IAC I had. Maurice

I used the one out of the 5.0 lol it's works... Which year escort btw?
