You should be more specific. Have you changed intakes? Or do you simply want to change throttle bodies on your stock set up? If the second scenario is the case, don't waste your time until you can change intakes.
what intake do u have
i was gonna say the same.if u put a 75mm tb on a stock intake its really not gonna make a difference cus the intake bore is gonna be blocking all the extra air u should be getting

^^^ this, as far as power goes

Don't aftermarket TB's help with throttle response though?

ok sorry guess ill explain my story. I use to race dirt bikes and sleds but as i get older im geting into something a little safer (drag racing) so my gf dad drag races he also has a mustang. so last week coming back from hunting my buddy told me his uncle wants him to sell this 89 mustang so i went over its a clean car so i thought it would be perfect to start a drag car. i paid him 2000$ witch being way up in northern ontario not a bad deal plus hes letting me keep it there for the winter. anyways the car is completely stock and the gf dad has drag springsand a bunch of other stuff he has to go through that we can through on this car. he has nothing for the 5.0 l and he told me not to do to much on it because next year he has a 351 w for next year so i was thinking of ordering some parts that is y i was asking witch throttle body to order. i was thinking of getting the bbk cold air intake as well. if you guys have any suggestions on what i should order for this 5l let me know keep in mind this motor is only going to be in the car for a year.

I don't know man, based off that, I'd change rear end gears maybe, but it would be pointless to mess with the throttle body.
ya alright well thanks anyways maybe ill leave it for now i know he has 410 gears for me thats one of the first things were doing.
Yeah don't waste money do chassis and transmission mods while you are patiently waiting for that freebie motor lol
If you are going to swap a 351 in there next year work from the bottom up. Like Bacon said start with suspension, chassis stiffening, tranny, brakes and get ready. A 351 won't make much more power if it doesn't have the supporting mods on it either like aftermarket heads, intake and cam.
