First, I don't mean to nitpick but it's important to get the right name for it. There is no "kickdown" cable on the Fox, it's the "throttle valve" cable and it's important to have it correct when running an AOD transmission. If the adjustment is wrong like it's too loose, it'll burn up the transmission. If it's too tight, the shift points will be too high.
If all you've done is a throttle body change but didn't mess with the cable, then you don't need to mess with it other than reconnecting it. It's the second cable that's attached to the throttle plate; the accelerator is the cable with a ball end, and the throttle valve cable is the one with a black plastic stud. The stud can break off, or the plastic bushing can wear out... both need immediate attention due to maintaining the correct setting for the transmission.
