will a 90 mm throttle body cause loss of low end tq on a 306 with 90 mm elbow and victor jr efi spyder? would a 75 make more tq? im confused a dude said it would lose velocity which i believe him but i was just wondering if anyone else had diff opinion?

you really only need a 75mm for your 306 unless you have some crazy mods that aren't listed. 75mm is still big.

The thing with going so big with everything is that you will "feel" a loss down low but it is because the powerband has been moved up. Like with the brodix heads, if you have them hogged out and they flow like mothers, with that big intake and TB plus the custom cam the only way to take advantage of all that is air to spin the motor just a little more.

Maybe it's just me, but if I had a 90mm elbow, I'd use a 90mm tb just to keep the airflow smooth, and not cause an immediate low pressure area just past the tb by going from 75mm straight to 90mm. I don't think you'd notice the tq loss, but anyway if you have a 90mm elbow and spyder intake, it SHOULD be a high rpm combo so who cares what happens at 2k rpms?
