This was a 2 page spread advertisement Ford placed in Motor Trend and other enthusiast geared magazines back in 1967.

At that time Ford had staked their entire marketing platform on pushing performance. They were racing because they felt like it, they had their fingers in everything from NASCAR to Le Mans, Drag Racing to Indy Cars and even Formula 1 eventually.
