The 89 shaft is shorter than the non-tilt 90 shaft. What do I do now? Do I replace the steering shaft assembly too? Is it longer than a 1990? Do I cut this shaft and weld a sleeve on it to extent it 1.5"? All this for tilt steering, someone at Ford should have been shot for not putting tilts in 90-93. Any help would be great, soon, next week at work I will probably just cut and weld it.:sterb:
