Question on timing chain install, I am installing a timing chain and gear set for the first time and I am wondering about the lower chain sprocket, it slide on the crank but the sprocket has not set screw or any thing like that to hold sprocket in place, is this right is the sprocket supposed float on the crank shaft or am I a missing a step.

You still have the key in the crankshaft that keeps the sprocket from spinning right? Otherwise, Jay is right. Just push it on all the way and get after it.
