I am building a 1979 351W for my 1969 Mustang. The timimg cover that came with the motor does not have the hole for the oil dipstick. Are there oil pans available that have provisions for the dipstick? Or, will I have to either get a different timing cover or drill the cover to acommodate the dipstick?

Any input would be appreciated.

The 5.0 timing covers are set up this way as well, but they have the spot to drill the dipstick hole out, and use it. I'd think this cover is that way as well. A 302/289 cover bolts up as well, so no problems either way.
