ok here is the problem my timing with the spout connector in is 25 degrees with it out it is 10 what do i do i have speed density and i have full exhaust 65mm tbody and a cold air intake could this have messed with the stock computer and is it ok if i run my car without the spout connector pluged in. also i just got a shorter belt and took off the air pump will this affect anything:headscratch:

i think that 25 degrees is about right with the spout in. you take it out only to set the base timing when it's plugged in the computer advances it. i don't know the exact number with the spout in but i think thats ok

That's normal, the spout is what controls the amount of timing advance. If you run it without the spout, it won't hurt, you just won't have any timing advance at all and the car wouldn't perform like it normally does. I've seen guys do that at the track, they adjust the timing and forget about the spout, go out and run and they lose a lot of time. Getting the shorter belt shouldn't hurt anything.
