I'm getting a full set of 17x9 rims sometime this week. I was wondering what size tires I should get. I have a '99 V6 3.8L. IMAG0148.jpg

245-45-17. depending on what you intentions are, i would go with some Nexen N3000 or some Nitto NT555. They have a good sporty look and some pretty good performance without braking the bank!

245's are too small with 9" rims get 275/40-17 they barely lip over my rims, 245's are inset and look like crap to me

275/40-17 is what American Muscle gives with their 17 inch wheel and tire kits.

when i purchased my 2nd hand gt wheels they came wrapped in 245/45/17, but if i were to buy new i would go wider, no such thing as too much grip

Gt rims are 8" wide they are suppose to have 245's I don't know how wide you can go on them though
