So I'm working on a playlist titled "Stang" for music to drive slightly over the speed-limit to. What are some good songs??

What I have so far:

Imma the Hell Outta Here - Steve Vai
Panama – Van Halen
Welcome to the Jungle – Guns ‘n Roses
Knights of Cydonia – MUSE
You Really Got Me – Van Halen
Some Dragonforce/Metallica and Ac/DC

Give me some more suggestions (no I can't do Stairway..sorry)

Can't believe no one mentioned AC/DC yet!

I just had an awesome drive out in the country yesterday, flying down the open roads, windows down music blaring on a hot day. It was perfect.

I made a collection of "classic rock" songs for just that occasion. You can take a look if you like. Some of these older songs just cream muscle car in my opinion!

(some of them in the list don't fit the bill for what you're asking, like slayer and probably beastie boys so you can ignore those)

It has been scientifically proven the single greatest driving song is Achillie's Last Stand - Led Zep

Also up there -
Highway Star - Deep Purple
I'm In Love with My Car - Queen (great to play when on the "spin" cycle after a wash)

Breadfan - Metallica
Fuel - Metallica
Backwoods Gold - Blackstone Cherry
Like I Roll - Blackstone Cherry
Dropp'in Plates - Disturbed

Just do it. Thank me later! :bigthumbsup

-I can't drive 55 -Sammy Hagar (this is an obvious one:winks)

Metallica: Wherever I may roam, Enter Sandman

Hendrix: Voodoo Chile (slight return), Purple Haze

Several songs by Zeppelin, including Achilles Last Stand, Kashmir, When the Levee Breaks, and Houses of the Holy

Some AC/DC: Shoot to Thrill, Back in Black, TNT, Shook Me All Night Long

And of course you need some GNR: Paradise City, Sweet Child O Mine, Civil War, Yesterdays, Patience (a slower song but one of my favorite GNR tunes), Welcome to the Jungle

You can't go wrong throwing some Stones, Van Halen, and Def Leppard tunes in there as well.
